What we are not is a training ground for short-term cheesemakers.  What we do is very skilled and specific to our own cheesemaking. It’s an investment for us on many levels—especially in time and training. CURRENT JOB OPENING FOR CHEESEMAKER: Our cheesemakers have come to us from a variety of previous work experiences.  We have an aircraft mechanic from the Air Force , a chef, an attorney, and food retailer among others.  It's an eclectic mix that works for several reasons—a passion for cheese, attention to detail, combined with a respect for physical and demanding labor. Current position(11/2/17): Full Time Cheesemaker

While no prior cheesemaking experience is required, a strong background in food manufacturing and food regulation is a plus. Our singular goal is making exceptional cheese, so passion, curiosity and great attention to detail is a must.
